The Colon Cleaning Experience

In retrospect, these are all very important questions. You want to make sure that the clinic you go to is clean. During my first visit, the assistant turned me on my side before allowing me to look at the tube she was going to insert into my anus. I figured this was because she did not want me to be intimidated by the device, but it also made me nervous. I wanted to see for myself that the equipment was clean. I also wanted to make sure the water was clean since it would be used to flush out my insides. The last thing I hoped for was an infection. You should try to make sure that you have the same assistant for each visit. This is because each assistant has his or her own style. I had two different assistants and one was more heavy-handed than the other. During the colonic process, I often wondered what kind of training the assistants received. I knew she was in the medical field because she discussed her second job with me, but I was not sure if she was an actual health care professional.
