Is An Intestinal Flush Really Beneficial?

Parasites, constipation, and colon cancer!? Oh my!

But how common are these things really? Well, after much research I was shocked, a good intestinal flush may be just what I need.

It has been determined that as many as 85% of the world is infected with parasites! The majority of people infected with parasites get them from food and water sources, but eggs can easily be transmitted by walking barefoot outdoors, through open cuts when gardening or even by animal and human contact. Just the simple act of petting or grooming your pet can increase the chance of infection. The parasitic eggs clinging to the hair on our furry friends are passed on to our hands, nose, and mouth. People who are infected may have some species of parasites living inside of them without even knowing it!

Intestinal parasites are a leading cause of colon dysfunction, and according to studies conducted by the Royal Society of Medicine in the United Kingdom, over sixty-five percent of illnesses occur as the result of an improperly functioning colon. These parasites cling to the lining of the colon and extract nutrients away from the body and the food we eat. They also release toxins that can further harm our body and impede the colon’s ability to function properly.

Just thinking about all of this gives me goose bumps. Parasite flush, here I come!

Natural remedies will be discussed at the end of this article, but first let’s look at one of the most common intestinal problems; constipation.

According to Blue Cross Blue Shield, constipation is the most common gastrointestinal complaint in the United States. Due to the growing number of processed foods, white flour based products and low fiber diets, millions of people around the globe suffer from constipation most or all of the time. The problem with chronic constipation or impacted bowels is that it causes many different colon malformations which can then severely tax our digestive organs and drastically decrease nutrient uptake and assimilation.

Think about your colon as a sewer system or car engine. Without proper care things start to build up, and this build up serves as either a safe haven for parasites or an absorption platform for toxins, both of which are causes of many diseases and even cancer!

According to the National Cancer Institute, colorectal cancer is the third most common type of non-skin cancer in men and women and the second leading cause of death in the United States after lung cancer. The colon, also known as the large intestines, is essential for a good, healthy body. Not only is it the site where nutrient absorption takes place, but it is also where waste material is processed and removed to keep from poisoning the body. Simply put, a healthy colon is absolutely essential for our ability to live a long, healthy life.

Now let’s wrap up by talking about some detox remedies to help your colon live a long, happy life. There are three main methods for a proper detoxifying cleanse, whether it be for an intestinal flush or parasite flush.

1. Use a high quality, natural detoxifying cleanse supplement. (The most convenient)

2. A light fast by transitioning to a diet full of raw fruits, vegetables, and herbs while eating few cooked or processed foods. (For the more dedicated)

3. A colonic irrigation or hydrotherapy session. (Just plain uncomfortable, but beneficial)

Note: It would be most beneficial to incorporate at least two of these methods into your detoxifying cleanse program.

Along with taking a good colon cleansing supplement, embark on a light fast. Eat small meals and avoid strenuous exercise. Meals would consist of pineapple or papaya in the morning and fresh steamed vegetables rich in fiber like beans and broccoli for lunch and dinner. Eating garlic with meals is also plus, and be sure to drink plenty of water.

For a parasite flush, wormwood and black walnut supplements found at health food stores help greatly with the removal of parasites from the body. Snacking on blackberries, pumpkin seeds, and pomegranate juice is another great way to rid the body of parasites and cleanse the intestines. This diet should last for 3 to 6 days and end by taking a strong laxative like senna leaf on the last day to remove any parasites or eggs from the bowels. It’s beneficial to continue to take a body cleanse supplement for another few weeks to ensure a thorough intestinal flush. Remember, a good body cleansing can take up to a month or more.

I hope this information has been helpful and it encourages you to take action to live a long and healthy life.
