What is Oil Pulling and what can it do?

To define Oil Pulling; it is the swishing or rinsing of oil in the mouth which pulls toxins and impurities from your body as a natural detox. The process is generally performed daily by swishing, rinsing and chomping sunflower or sesame oil around the mouth for 20 minutes. The results of this natural detox are an uncontrollable salivation which brings out the chemicals and impure metals which are present from food, air pollutants and radiation from electronic devices.

This form of alternative medicine is known to reduce or remove completely the harmful minerals from the body but as Dr. Karach, the top promoter of this treatment, claims to be the cure for all disease to the human body. According to the doctor, the treatment has had beneficial results for chronic blood diseases, paralysis, sleeplessness, encephalitis, eczema and ulcers. Whilst it may seem far fetched, the only way to find out about this natural detox is to try it for yourself.

Here are instructions on how to perform Oil Pulling

1 Before brushing your teeth in the morning, put one tablespoon full of sesame or sunflower oil into your mouth and swish around for 20 minutes.
2 Continue to do so until the oil turns into a white frothy mixture then spit it out. This means the oil is drawing out any toxins and impurities from your body.
3 Spit it out and brush your teeth as normal. Consume at least a glass of water afterwards.
4 To increase the speed of the process, you can perform this detox 2-3 times per day. You are not limited to those oils; you could try walnut, avocado or even coconut oil.

The oil will pull the mucus from your body, which is a poison according to Ayurvedic medicine. The natural detox is working when you feel worsened symptoms of your ailment as your body is healing.
